The power to influence or direct people’s behaviour or the course of events. What do you let have control over you ? Who do you believe is in control of your life ? These are two questions that could ultimately determine the direction in which you allow your life to be led. Every individual wants to feel as if they’re in control. It’s a part of human nature. When you feel like you’re in control of certain things you start to feel secure within yourself. The second something goes a different route than you intended, you automatically start to panic because it’s not going the way you planned. All you need to realise is that it’s not for you to worry about. Simply because every turn that your life takes was already constructed by the person who has complete and total control over you. God has already set out a plan for your life designed to give you a future and hope so that you will prosper. There’s no need to panic or fret over what the future may bring. Yes we don’t know exactly what the future holds but we know exactly who holds it. If we trust in the power above us that has control over our lives we can be assured that everything is currently working for our greater good. Whenever you feel the stresses of life trying to overwhelm you, take a moment to remind yourself in a safe space that the Lord is in control & he will make a way when it seems as if there is no way.

Every single day that we are blessed with the opportunity to grace this Earth it’s not by chance that we just wake up and get to do whatever what we like. It’s not a normality or a coincidence but simply because of Gods mercy over our lives. We don’t need to worry about anything because he is taking care of everything that concerns us. He’s always in control. The good thing about God is that he’s never too early or never too late. He’s always on time. Whatever controls your mind will ultimately control your life. Whatever you give power to will ultimately have power over you. If it’s the opinions of your friends that affects you then they will forever have control over you. If it’s fear over your job, finances or family then this fear will continue to paralyse you and control everything you do. LET GO AND LET GOD. There’s no need to worry about tomorrow for tomorrow will worry about itself. Use today to do the best you can and God will take care of the rest. He told us to place all of our burdens on him and he will give us peace. Why should we ever be concerned or affected by the opinion of man when our destiny lies firmly in the hands of our creator. Everything you’ve prayed for belongs to you. It’s yours. For all you have is all you need. There’s a path that belongs to you and you alone. Control your mind & control your life !

Proverbs 16:9 reads ”The heart of man plans his way, but the Lord establishes his steps”. You can do all the planning you want. You could write down every idea you have and the way you’d like things to go but it’s only through God that plans come to fruition and become your reality. It’s not for us to become disheartened when things don’t go the way we initially intended. It can be disappointing. It can also be frustrating. It may also lead to self-doubt and some confusion. You may be asking yourself what could you have done better ? If it didn’t work out for you it simply means that something better is in store for you. If it didn’t happen when you wanted it doesn’t mean it will never happen. Delay does not mean denial. Everything will come together exactly the way it’s supposed to. All we have to do is trust in Gods divine plan for our lives. Why do we sit on a plane and trust that we will get to our destination safely ? This is because we know that the pilot is in control and we don’t have to question his ability. There’s nothing too challenging for God and he is more than able. So why should we question Gods ability to get us to our final destination safe and sound ? He is always in control and wants to give you a life full of joy. Never doubt the process for there is beauty in the struggle. Behind every problem you will find purpose. Believe in your journey and never downplay or dim down your light for anyone. You were fearfully and wonderfully made. Destined for greatness. Fully deserving of all your hearts desires.

“Cast all your anxieties onto him because he cares for you”. Place all your confusion and anxiety onto the one who wants to carry it for you. Worry less & enjoy more. Live in the present and deal with the future as it comes. Through the highs and lows God will never leave your side. Everything happens for a reason. After all, God always has been and always will be in control. Amen

Humility is having a modest or low view of one’s importance. Humility is not thinking less of yourself but thinking of yourself less. Being able to put others above you without envy or discontentment will allow God to work miracles in your life as you carry yourself in his image and his likeness. Never believing that you are better than anyone else but at the same time believing in everything that you are and everything that God has called you to be. Life is all about balance. It’s not to say that when you put others first you have to forget about yourself. To be able to put others first you have to love yourself first so that everything you do in life stems from love. When you are able to find the steady balance that does not take away from you but also adds to the lives of those around you that is when you are truly walking in purpose and fulfilling the Lord’s plan for your life. Never compare your life to anyone else ! Why ? For you are incomparable as there will never be anyone like you. There never has been and there never will be. You are special in your own right and that is the beauty of life. There may be similarities between people but they will never be the same. This is why it’s a waste of time looking at what others have or what they may do because their life was not intended for you. God does not mistakes and he knows exactly what he wants to do with your life and how all your hearts desires will be fulfilled at the anointed time. Faith is all you need.

The opposite of humility is pride & envy. In life people will envy you and will tend to be jealous of the talents that you possess. Sometimes you may even find yourself asking a variety questions about why you haven’t achieved certain things that others have and why life is treating you in a certain manner. It’s important to remember that you don’t know what it takes to live the life of someone else. All that glitters isn’t gold. Everyone has their own battles and faces their own challenges, the things that you don’t get to see on a regular basis because not everyone shares their struggles openly. God shaped you to be you. No one else can live your life for you. His intentions are to give you a life where you will prosper with a future and never ending hope. You deserve all the good things that life has to offer because you are worthy. As we humble ourselves before the most High, we will be exalted and lifted up to new levels, new chapters and new opportunities. Coming into contact with those in positions of power who will help lead us to our breakthrough. Stay focused and never give up no matter how tough things get. You won’t go through more than you’re capable of dealing with. As we remain humble and live our lives believing that we have all that we need, everything else will be added unto us and we will be made whole. Happiness is a choice. No one can take away your happiness unless you let them. Trust in God’s plan for your life and never stop moving forward.

We are all equal. Society has made us some of think that we are better than others because of the money that we’ve acquired or the material that we possess. These things are accomplishments but they don’t make us better than one another. The same way God has blessed us with these things is the same way we need to be humble and grateful because the one who gave it to us is the same person who can take it away if we mishandle the gift that we’ve been given. Transform your mind and renew the way you think. Who you are is far more important than what you do or what you have. Humble yourself and satisfy the Lord. Be there for those who need you. Aspire to be selfless and considerate in all your endeavours and as you pour into others, God’s grace will be poured back into you and may your cup runneth over. As you increase may your pride decrease. Pride is ugly and destructive. It’s not an easy task but to put others first is a skill that has the highest rewards. What legacy do you want to leave here on Earth ? What do you want people to remember most about you ? Have a think about that and as you do so may your heart be filled with understanding and purpose all the days of your life. Amen.

The ability to display a lack of fear or concern in any given situation or environment. How many of us can say that we live our lives with a fearless attitude where we are not worried about any particular outcome ? It’s likely that the answer is very few of us. When you trust in a power that is above you, you start to realise that the result and outcomes of all situations have nothing to do with you. Everything works out the way it’s meant to work out regardless if the end result is what you desired. Being fearless shows that you have confidence that things will always work out for your greater good so you don’t allow yourself to be consumed by negativity as you know that you will prosper irrespective of everything else that goes on around you. Whatever it is that you’ve been holding back from as you’re scared and worried if it’s going to work out, try your best to eradicate all pessimistic thinking & believe that you have everything that you need in order to succeed. You hold the key to your own glory. The power to conquer is in your hands. It all comes from a place deep inside you that you must bring to life in order to see the greatness that you possess. Live every single day as if it were your last so you can exceed all boundaries that have been set before you and reach the pinnacle of your purpose.

Let 2021 be the year that you can say you pushed yourself to the limit and did not let fear hold you back. Fear of being judged by others, self doubt & a lack of support are just a few of the things that try to stop us from reaching our potential. What I’ve come to realise is that people are going to judge you regardless of what it is that you do. So you should do what you want anyway. No more doubting in your ability or your potential. You are great and you are capable of achieving anything you want. You’re not living your life for anyone else apart from you so step out of your comfort zone and start to work on that thing sitting on your heart. Let it come forward and propel you to your new level. As you humble yourself in front of the Lord, you will surely be exalted. Let’s not become too comfortable in the same routine for familiarity breeds complacency. When you are all too familiar with doing the same things it’s easy to become laid back and live a life with zero urgency. When you’re willing to step out of that area of comfortability, this is where the most growth will occur. If it doesn’t challenge you it will not change you. Difficulty is part of the process. So many people view trials and tribulations as a sign to stop when really it’s encouragement to persevere and conquer. What doesn’t break you will only make you stronger. Be fearless in all your endeavours and remember that you are not alone. God is with you forever and always.

Psalms 27:1 reads “The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear ? The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid ?” Life is to be enjoyed not to be endured. You’re not here to live a life in fear. You’re here because you have a purpose to fulfil and to live a life of faith believing in yourself and all of your hearts desires. You have nothing to be afraid of. No situation is bigger than you and it never will be. You are way stronger than you give yourself credit for. We ask God for strength and he gives us opportunities to show just how strong we are. The fact that you are still alive today after the year we just had is proof of the strength that you have whether you give yourself credit for it or not. Stop being so harsh on yourself. Your life won’t be limited by the things you think you can’t do but instead let it be determined by the wonderful things you are capable of doing as long as you believe. There are people who are genuinely afraid of your potential whilst you doubt your ability. Let that doubt be left in 2020 as this year we’re taking back all the good things that belong to us. What is meant for you will not pass you by so fear not about the events of the past. Instead look forward to how successful the future could be. After everything you’ve overcome you owe it to yourself to be fearless and achieve all that you desire. Remind yourself daily: “If God is with me who can be against me ?” The answer is nobody. Not a single soul can prosper against you for the Lord is fighting all your battle and he will not be defeated. He has given you victory.

I pray God allows 2021 to be your best year yet. I hope you find your purpose and all your hearts desires are fulfilled. Divine breakthrough and divine turnaround is yours. Believe it. Claim it. Own it.

12/12. The first Sunday of the last month of 2020. Congratulations if you’ve been blessed with the grace of the most high God to be here today. It feels like a very long time since 2020 started due to the turbulence that we’ve experienced from the beginning. In a year like never before the Lord has been faithful and has sustained us up until this very point. No matter where you may be in your life right now gratitude is a must. So many families have been broken, lives destroyed, jobs lost and a whole lot of negativity. Remember that the Lords strength is shown in our weakness. In the midst of all the trouble you still have life. Simply because the Lord has a plan for you that is bigger than the plan you have for yourself. Plans to give you a future and hope but not to harm you. Your life is a testimony in itself. You survived. 2020 did not beat you. You are victorious and may the Lord continue to give you victory over every obstacle and periods of affliction that tries to dim your shining light. The pain that you have been feeling can not compare to the joy that is coming. I’m sure 2020 highlighted to a lot us that all the things we may have glorified previously do not belong to us. Every part of normality that we once knew has been taken from us currently which shows that we are never in control. When we realise we are not in control of our future or destiny and we give it all unto God, he will give us victory like never before. Trust him.

John 16:33 reads “In this world you will have trouble. But take heart ! I have overcome the world”. The word of God has already highlighted that we will experience troubled times in life and there will be occasions where things may become overwhelming. But be confident because if the Lord has overcome the world, his children will also overcome whatever it is they may go through. You will also be victorious. The most tested are the most blessed. When you carry glory you will be attacked from left right and centre. Whether that be by doubters, liars, fake people and pure enemies there will always be people trying to undermine you and make you question whether you are doing enough. They want you to feel negative just like them as they wish they could be as confident as you are. Let the peace of God consume you so you know full well that you are more than good enough. You are worthy and deserving of the abundant blessings on its way to you. Trouble will never have the final say and you will succeed in whatever it is your heart desires. Write down your prayer request and leave it to God. The word says whatsoever you ask for in prayer, believing, you will receive. So we can’t tell God how and when to bless us but we must know that it’s been answered and it will come to life at the APPOINTED time. When you ask for it you simply may not be ready at that current period of time. It doesn’t mean you haven’t been heard or that it’s not for you. Are you willing to be patient and confident that you will receive everything you’ve asked for when the time is right ? There’s no timing like the Lord’s. For he is our strength and our song and he has given us victory.

Celebrate your small wins ! There’s nothing to small to be classed as an accomplishment. Even if it’s the smallest thing that you’ve done today congratulate yourself for it. Self love and celebrations are vital in being able to realise how far you’ve come on your journey towards your end goal. Little victories count. There may be a difference in where you are now compared to where you were last year. Celebrate. You may have set yourself a target for the week and completed it. Celebrate. You made a plan for the month and hit all of your goals. Celebrate. Appreciate the journey you are on. Even if this isn’t the case for you personally then celebrate your life because the way 2020 has gone things could’ve been very different but everyday you’ve been given the opportunity to wake up and continue with your life. Not by luck. Not by confidence. Just grace. Clearly your life has a purpose whether you know it or not and you are here for a reason. 2020 showed me first hand that you really don’t know what you have until it’s gone. Let’s be grateful. Whoever may be feeling down currently, keep your head up for the Lord is there for those who are broken hearted in spirit. He’ll never leave your side. If all else fails and everyone leaves your side he’ll never forsake you. He will give you victory at the anointed time. Stay strong.

The last 12 months may have been tough but I believe the next 12 months will be filled with testimonies and miracles. May 2021 be good to us all with non stop breakthrough, success, achievements and VICTORY. See you in 2021 by his grace in Jesus mighty name. Amen

A particular point or period of time when something happens. A lot of us aspire to have certain things at a certain time and when we don’t receive these things, it can have a negative affect on us mentally and lead to our own self doubt. I want you to know that whatever is for you will always be for you. Whatever is for you will not pass you by. If it passes you by it simply wasn’t for you. When we give God complete control of our situation we start to realise why things planned out the way they did. For his plan for our lives is far more superior than the plan that we have for ourselves. If our dreams and ideas are extremely big, one can only imagine the greatness that the Lord has in store for us. Only if we have confidence whilst being patient and believing that everything will happen at the appointed time. Just because you took longer does not mean you failed. An accomplishment will always remain an accomplishment. Success is not determined by age. Success is determined by your perception of the outcome. Whatever it is you’re looking for or working towards, as long as you are content with the end result that’s the only thing that matters. Society has crippled our generation into believing that you have to have your life sorted as early as possible when this is far from the case. For those who have achieved great things at an early age, pure respect and admiration for them. However, there is nothing wrong with taking longer than others. It’s okay to not know exactly what you want to do with yourself. When your purpose is revealed to you and you have faith that things will work out for you irrespective of where you are in life right now, success becomes a matter of when and not if. Every individual has a pathway and a journey that is specific to them. This is what makes every person special and unique in their own right. Trust God’s timing and not the world’s timing. You won’t regret it.

Galatians 6:9 reads “And let us not grow weary of doing good, for in due season we will reap, if we do not give up”. This verse will resonate with a lot of people as it is so easy to become disheartened when you work so hard and it just never seems to be enough. I’m sure we’ve all come across the person who doesn’t seem to do any hard work but they always succeed in whatever they do. It’s easy to look at things like this and allow yourself to become frustrated as you feel like you deserve more. Remember that their story is not your story. It’s not your job to question their journey. You do deserve more and you will get more. As long as you do not give up. You can’t stop someone who refuses to quit as that person will get to the end goal no matter what it takes. It pays to be a good person. It pays to do good deeds for others whenever you can. The clean hearted will always win. When you plant seeds of faith and water them with dedication, commitment and pure passion and drive, you will surely reap the rewards of your labour when your harvest comes to life. A harvest of joy, peace, breakthrough and fulfilment. Nothing happens by mistake. Nothing at all. You’re currently being shaped into the person you need to be in order to be able to handle the magnitude of the blessings that are on the way to you. Do not doubt the process and do not doubt yourself. Overthink positive things so that feelings of hope, inspiration and serenity can consume us and we can remain confident in Gods plan for our lives. Try it and see how once your change your mind you ultimately change your life.

It’s never too late for success. Barack Obama became president of the USA at the age of 47. Nelson Mandela spent 27 years in prison before becoming the president of South Africa at the age of 76. In sports mid 30’s is considered old whereas in politics mid 30’s is considered young. There are no restrictions on what you are able to do. As long as you have a vision and you are determined to bring your ideas to life, there is nothing that you cannot achieve. Crazy faith through everything ! If your dreams do not scare you, they’re not big enough ! Dream big & work hard. The sky is truly the limit. You can do whatever you want. You’re free to explore whatever career path you want and if one doesn’t work there is always another. Something will work out. I would rather try and fail than regret not trying at all. When we’re older we can look back and say “oh well” as opposed to living a life of regret and saying “what if”. Stay positive & stay focused. God’s time is the best time as you can rest assured that what he’s given you is truly meant for you. You won’t have to second guess yourself or wonder if it’s real. God makes no mistakes and when we let go and let God, the blanket of internal peace forever rests upon us.

The ability to successfully overcome and take control of a problem/weakness. Each and every day I’m sure that we are all consistently trying to overcome something that we may be going through. No matter how difficult this particular thing may be it is still something that we are actively trying to conquer. There is nothing that you are not capable of conquering. Obviously, it is easier said than done but the first step towards conquering any obstacle that places itself in front of you is actually believing that you are more than able to do so. The next step is to continuously believe that you will be successful in your efforts to break free from whatever is causing you the problem. It’s easy to have faith when things are going well for you. Our faith is really tested when everything is going against you completely. Whether that be at work, your business, your family and your personal life, when all the odds are stacked against you this is when your faith needs to reach another level in order for you to overcome any affliction that is trying to belittle you and make you feel like you are unworthy of all the good things that you desire. When your faith is unmoved no matter the storm you are facing in life, the conquering of any difficulty becomes inevitable. Conquer and repeat. Let it become a habit and a lifestyle for you.

John 1:5 reads” The light shines in the darkness and the darkness has not overcome it”. In other words there is beauty in the struggle that you are facing. The struggle cannot consume you nor will it last forever. It’s very easy to focus on the destination as opposed to the journey in between. The destination may not feel the same or be as enjoyable without the journey that has led you there. I truly believe you will learn more about the art of conquering and battling for what you believe to be yours along the journey which will make the destination all the more pleasant. After hardship comes ease. Trust the process. Whatever is worth having will not come easy. Are you willing to wake up everyday and conquer your obstacles ? What are you willing to do to fulfil your hearts desire ? How confident are you that God will make a way ? When you are consumed with the fire and the drive to go and overcome all the barriers in the way of your destiny you cannot be stopped. The individual who refuses to stay down after being knocked back several times is the one who will surely reach the pinnacle of their desires. You cannot beat the person who never gives up. Faith over fear in everything you do. It’s not to say that you will wake up tomorrow with a completely different mindset. But start today. Small changes in the way that you think can make a massive difference in your approach to everyday life. Instead of looking at that problem as impossible to conquer, you will see it as a challenge to show just how strong you are and how you are capable of overcoming any task in front of you. In my mind I can never lose in life. Wherever life takes me I either win or I learn. If I’m learning that can only lead to more wins in the future. Turn every negative into a positive. You’re in control. You vs You. Make it personal.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Please remember. YOU ARE PLANTED NOT BURIED. As hard as it may be to believe, you are exactly where you are supposed to be as you are reading this very paragraph. The Lord almighty does not make mistakes and you may be asking the question of why you are the one going through that period of struggle and confusion. It’s a well known fact that you will not go through anything that you are not capable of conquering. Said so by our Father himself. Also, the hardest battles are given to the toughest soldiers. The ones who have the capacity and ability to conquer. The seed of faith that you have planted will create a harvest of success, joy and peace for you at the anointed and appointed time. No one sees what your life is like behind closed doors. No ones know what the struggle feels like in your life. All we have to judge others on is by the pictures they post or the videos they upload to social media. We don’t actually know what anyone is going through so be kind to one another as you don’t know what they are trying to conquer in their everyday life. Things may be tough for them already so be considerate. We tend to fear so many different things when our spirits would rather be filled with faith as opposed to worry. The burden that is bothering you has been handled ! It’s not for you to stress about. It all comes from you. Once we have conquered ourselves and our own doubt and worries then surely we can conquer the world. Change your thinking and you change your life. May the door of opportunities that may have closed in the past be reopened. I pray that everyone conquers whatever they may be going through currently and that the grace and love of God never departs from your life IJMN.

The assurance that one will do something or that a particular thing will happen. How many times have people promised you something and failed to deliver ? How many times have you made a promise and failed to live up to your word ? The only promise that can be guaranteed without a doubt is the promise of the Lord above. The promise that he has made to give you a future and hope but not to harm you. To ensure that whatever you do you will prosper and be protected at all times. The words of humans are simply just words and can sometimes have no meaning. In comparison to this, the word of God is a declaration of greatness that will be executed and completed in your life as long as you believe and trust that whatever he says he will do. Whatever you ask for in prayer, believing, you will receive it. That’s a solid promise that everything your heart desires can be yours but you have to act and believe as if it is yours already. There is nothing you can’t have when success and accomplishments have been promised unto you already. Faith without works is dead so at the same time as believing you have to be putting in considerable effort to make a change and a difference in your personal life. Your mindset and approach to every situation will determine whether you will be able to receive the promise that is yours. Are you ready to hold on to the magnitude of the blessings that are on the way to you ?

Patience is the payment for the promise of the Lord. Galatians 6:9 reads “Let us not become weary doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up”. It’s very easy and normal to become frustrated after doing good and working hard for a long period of time and still not receiving your breakthrough. It’s been promised that we will reap the rewards of our labour as long as we do not give up. Patience is a virtue and blessed are those who believe although they have not seen. Now you may not have directly seen your miracle but if you truly believe that it will be yours there is nothing that can get in the way of your success. This is the meaning of walking in faith and not by sight. If we were to walk by sight it would be easy for us to become disheartened and envious at what we see in the world. You may feel like you are more deserving of good things than other people. You may feel like you’ve been working harder than some people and they’ve had their breakthrough in a shorter period of time. As we all know comparison is the thief of joy so remember that everyone has their time for glory and everyone has their own lane to run in. Being confident whilst being patient can only boost your understanding of yourself as an individual as well as slowly letting you master the art of internal peace as you have given all your burdens to God who will give you eternal joy. As long as you do not give up you will always have a chance. Be patient. God isn’t finished with you yet.

Make a promise today to be the best version of yourself on a daily basis and try your hardest to fulfil this promise. There will be times when you doubt yourself and your attention is fixed on negative things that have no benefit in your life. 2 Corinthians 12:9 reads: “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness”. It’s okay to not be okay at times. You don’t have to be strong at all times. Embrace the days where you feel weak and take comfort in the fact that Gods grace is clear & evident in the lives of those who need him the most. Let your faith be the pillar of your strength and remain assured that no matter what you go through, everything will be alright. Whenever you feel down or demotivated take a step back to reflect and redirect yourself on your journey to personal fulfilment and peace. Remember why you started and how far you’ve come as opposed to how far you have to go. Never lose sight of the vision or the plan. Stay focused and determined to conquer and defeat every hurdle of adversity that tries to place itself in front of you. You can literally overcome anything. I can’t see the future so I can’t make any promises that you can hold to. One thing I can promise you and assure you is that the Lord has the best intentions for your life and all the promises over your life are to give you a bright future and to allow you to prosper. Be a man/woman of your word and never stop striving towards greatness. Glory is yours. Amen.

A strong feeling of wanting to have something or wishing for something to happen. What are your hearts desires ? I’m sure every single one of us has something of extreme importance that we would like to accomplish or receive in our lives. A burning flame deep inside of you that cannot be explained. Only you know how much this thing means to you. It’s unexplainable to others. The fact that you cannot go a day without thinking about this desire and you feel such a strong attachment towards it is a very good indication that this desire is destined to be yours. If you can dream it you most definitely can achieve it. The only difference between who you are today and who you dream of becoming, is the application of hard work and the sacrifices that you make in between. Everybody wants to win but not everybody wants to fight. Everybody wants success but not everybody is willing to fail. There is no success without failure sadly. You have to lose in order to cherish what it feels like to win. You have to make mistakes in order to learn. You have to be willing to give up everything that you are for everything that you will become. It’s a conscious decision that you have to make and no one else can make it for you. You have to take control of your reality so that your hearts desires can be fulfilled. The power belongs to you. What will you do with your power ?

Lamentations 3:5 reads ”The Lord is good to those who wait for him”. Patience is truly a virtue. The ability to trust that everything is happening at the correct time and is working for your greater good. Patience is the payment for the promise that has your name on it. It’s not just about waiting for your desires to be achieved. It’s about the mentality and the attitude that you display WHILST you are waiting. Everyone has blessings that belong to them and them alone. The magnitude of these blessings surpass human comprehension. Bigger than anything we could ever imagine. Once we as a generation trust in the Almighty more than we trust ourselves we will never be let down. The promise of fulfilment will be released unto us. Simply because we remained confident as we waited as we know that there is a plan for our life that no man can interfere with. Knowing that all plans are to give you the future that you crave. Continuously hoping and manifesting for positivity and happiness to be present in our lives and gravitate towards us. Once again the power is in your hands. Patience has to be practiced as it is a skill. Work on it. Pray on it. Receive it. May the Lords will be perfectly aligned with our hearts desire and may all of our targets, goals and hearts desires be fulfilled.

Plant a seed of faith and water it with positive affirmations over your life. This way your roots can be uplifted and with patience your harvest can be present for all to see at the appointed time. No matter how you currently feel, you can still have everything that you desire. Life may not be going to plan but remember that it is not you who is in control of the plan. Your life was already mapped out before you came to existence so trust that you are going exactly where you are supposed to go. Everything happens for a reason and eventually you will be able to clearly see how everything that you’ve endured was for your benefit in the long term. Gods got it so trust him. Feelings are temporary. Do not make permanent decisions based on temporary feelings. It may not feel as though good things are happening in your life but try to put your feelings to the side occasionally and try your best to remember the promise over your life. You will never go through anything you cannot conquer. You are so much stronger than you know. Don’t be so harsh on yourself. Instead of looking how far you need to go, look back and acknowledge how far you have already come. If you are scared of what the future holds, do everything that you can to resist fear with everything that Christ has instilled inside of you. Fear is a man made illusion that has been placed in some of us to stop our prosperity. Whilst you doubt yourself others are scared of your potential. Don’t ever forget that. Fight for your desires. If it means that much to you, refuse to be beaten even when life has knocked you down to the point that quitting seems like the best option. You will receive all that you desire. Just hold on. Pain will come to an end one day.

An act or process through which something becomes different. What is change to you? Change could be when you notice something new within yourself whether that be physically, emotionally, mentally or spiritually. There comes a point when you realise that something about you is no longer the same. It could be the person you see when you look at yourself in the mirror. It could be your thought process in difficult situations. It could also be your reaction to a scenario where you react differently to how you might have reacted in the past. Each and every single day things are changing around us as individuals and within our society. I’ve noticed that a lot of the time change occurs after hardship. At this present point in time, our communities are fighting for change because as part of the black community we are more than deserving and worthy of being treated equally. Black lives truly do matter. Injustice cannot rule over humanity. Mark 30:31 reads “Love your neighbour as yourself”. This is the golden key to the promise of peace that everyone is entitled to. Loving your neighbour does not have anything to do with the colour of your skin. It comes from deep within your heart as a person to treat others how you would like to be treated. Mentalities have to change across the spectrum of humanity so that oppression can come to an end one day.

Never stop standing up for the things that you believe in. Hold on to your faith and never stop hoping and believing that change will come one day. Freedom from the brutality and the adversity that we’ve faced for over 400 years. A change in social constructs that will allow us to be viewed and treated equally. Equal opportunities in all areas of life. Living freely without the fear of judgement or prejudice from the oppressor. Why is ending racism a debate ? Why do black people have to protest to be heard ? How many people must be killed before law enforcements realise that enough is enough ? We are not animals. We are human. For the longest period of time black people have had to deal with and put up with racial profiling and stereotypical assumptions as if this is something that is normal. Systematic racism is something that has haunted a generation and it must come to an end. This shouldn’t be the way of life. The darkness has blinded many but there shall be light at the end of the tunnel. The tunnel where dreams, confidence and faith shall be restored. The journey towards greatness and fulfilment. God will always make a way when it seems as if there is no way. We’ve come so far and only better things can come for us. Divine direction towards the land of equality is our portion.

Black is beautiful. Black is power. Black is strength. Black is love. Invest and support your people in the black community. Support does not have to come in the form of finances. There are several ways to be effective in our encouragement of one another. Be kind to everyone you meet as you do not know how your generosity and positive attitude could influence them. The day that we uplift and support each other as much as we fight the enemy, this is when true domination can occur and we can thrive. United we stand but divided we fall. Encourage your brothers and sisters and push them to breaking down all barriers that are placed in front of them. Be the change that you want to see in the world. Mark 4:40 reads “Why are you so afraid ? Do you not have any faith ?” There is nothing too difficult for us to achieve. With faith and prayer we are capable of the impossible. For nothing is impossible with God. We will forever be stronger together. Let your faith be your focal point as we strive towards total acceptance of who we are. Be proud of who you are and never shy away from dwelling in your culture and representing yourself to the fullest. Only thing that is constant in this life is the grace of God. Change is inevitable. Let’s get ready for it.

The capacity of an object to withstand great force or pressure. In human context, strength is our ability to resist and battle against the pressures of life and the hardship that we face. It takes a strong person to not concede to the difficulties that we face on a day to day basis. When everything is against you why shouldn’t you quit ? It’s the easiest thing to do. The way I view it is that through the pressure that’s being placed on us we have two choices. The first choice is to give in to the pressure and accept defeat against whatever you were up against. The second choice is to fight against the pressure and refuse to let the force take you down. As I’ve said before and I’ll say it again. PRESSURE MAKES DIAMONDS. Many of us are undercover diamonds that are struggling to shine as we’d rather choose the easy or the safe option when we are faced with a challenge. How can we expect to elevate when everything we do is only done when we are comfortable ? As a generation we would rather get things done at our own pace where we cannot be judged and all decisions are ones that are made for us instead of using our own knowledge and taking the initiative. Through every test we face we should be encouraged as we know that the most blessed are the most tested. We have to overcome the trials and tribulations placed in front of us in order for our glory to be released. Nothing worth having will ever come easy so let us get comfortable being uncomfortable ! We can pray for strength but God will simply give us opportunities to show how strong we truly are. All you have is all that you need. Nothing more and nothing less. All that is required is a change in mentality.

Mental strength is the key to being successful in life. You are in total control of your thoughts and your feelings. Once you regulate your mind you regulate your emotions. The sooner you are able to do this, the easier it is to keep pushing and striving towards whatever it is that you desire. Positivity breeds happiness. Anything that does not bring positivity into your life has to be removed with immediate effect. No matter what it may be, if it can cost you your happiness then it is way too expensive. You do not deserve to settle for less and that is relevant in every single area of your life. Stand firm in your beliefs and let your positivity and faith lead you to a place of gratitude where you are accepted and appreciated. Tough times are inevitable in this life we live. Anyone who doesn’t accept this will find it harder to stand up to the distress of life. When this has been accepted all we need to do is change our attitude towards facing all of our troubles and approach every situation with nothing but confidence and courage. Once you have done this there can only be one winner. When you simply refuse to give up, your strength increases and your pain reduces. We don’t get stronger through success but we get stronger through our struggles. When we come up against any form of obscurity and decide not to quit, that is where strength is developed. Remember, we are not alone. We try so hard to push the weights of life alone sometimes forgetting that there is someone above us who is in control of every situation. Exodus 15:2 reads” The Lord is my strength and my song; he has given me victory”. The battle has already been won before it even began ! You have nothing to be worried about. No matter what you go through you will never be forsaken. As the Lord remains faithful even when we are faithless. Stand firm. Be bold. Better days are on the way.

The pain of today is the strength of tomorrow. There is nothing that you cannot do and there will never be a situation that you cannot overcome. As hard it may be at the time, some of our greatest strengths are built and developed from our deepest wounds. Focus on the lesson you’re being taught so you can continue to grow. I’m a firm believer in everything working out for the greater good. This can be extremely hard to comprehend and digest as some of us have gone through so much and are in a constant fight with ourselves mentally. Debating whether the conflict of life is worth it. I can tell you for free that every single day you wake up the Lord’s plan for you is still in action and your purpose is still in tact. Whether you have discovered it or not it is still in tact. Your life is worth living. You have so much more to offer than you even know. You are strong. You are blessed. You are capable of doing whatever it is that you want to do with your life. Never limit yourself. We often become whatever we believe ourselves to be. If we declare whatever it is that we want to become with faith, we will surely acquire the level needed to receive it even if this seems highly unlikely in the beginning. There is power in the mind and power in the tongue. Manifest greatness into your life. With pure intentions in all that you do, you can succeed in every aspect that you desire. The goodness of life shall start to gravitate towards you effortlessly. Simply because you believed when others advised you to quit. Every question you’ve ever asked it’s very likely that you already know the answer deep down inside. But you’d rather someone else tell you the answer to reassure you when you already know. Be strong enough to make your own decisions and be confident in the decisions that you make. You are your own person so take accountability for who you are and everything that you do. You have power over your mind. Not external events. Realise this and strength will locate you.

Luke 12:25 reads “Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to your life ?” As blunt as it may seem worrying does absolutely nothing for you. Literally nothing at all. Instead be assured that the presence of the Lord is with you wherever you go and he shall direct your steps taking you where it is that you’ve been called to go. All his plans for your life are to prosper you and give you a future and hope. The pain that you have been feeling cannot compare to the joy that is coming. You will never be faced with an obstacle that you can’t overcome. Instead of just overcoming it why don’t you take the chance to destroy that obstacle and be prepared for the next one that comes your way as you know the exact same thing will happen. Conquer & repeat. A relentless cycle that you have decided to take upon yourself to develop your strength and beat whatever tries to take away your happiness and your freedom. You’re too blessed to be held down by the enemy. Your mind can also be your biggest enemy if you allow it to overflow with negativity and doubt. Turn your mind into your most lethal weapon as you fill it with positivity and words of affirmation that you will succeed in everything you do. The individual who never gives up is the hardest to beat. You will be applauded. You will be congratulated. You will be successful. Simply because today is the day you made the decision to never give up.
